longevity may be desirable, but it is not the basic
component of a worthy life. There is no doubt about the fact that the former
Ondo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Ayodeji Falae lived a
fulfilled life. Although, it is a natural phenomenon to grief over the death of
loved ones, but when the deceased has left his foot prints on the sands of
time, it becomes a glorious exit.
Hearts were tom over the loss of a man whom many described as a practicing and
committed
Christian and a great husband and father who had an uncommon ability to relate
with people at all levels, with consummate ease, due to his large· heartedness
and sincerity.
The always smiling Deji who was the second son of the former Secretary to the
Government of
the Federation (SGF) and a Presidential candidate in 1999, ChiefOiu Falae, died
alongside 15 others who accompanied remains of the former Ondo State Governor
Olusegun Agagu from Lagos to Akure for burial.
The burial rites of the deceased’s departure to the great beyond began with a
fareweD service at This Present House, on Admiralty Road, Lekki Phase, Lagos.
There people from all walks of life carne to show their love and support for
the Falae family.
The farewell service in honor of the deceased was officiated by Pastor Thny
Rapu assisted by Pastor Nigel Cookey – Gam, Pastor Kola Fabiyi, Pastor Kernela
