Ovation was at the red carpet premiere as stars celebrated the world premiere of “Elton John: Never Too Late” at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The documentary follows Sir Elton John, who grew up to become one of the biggest pop stars of all time, as he looks back on his life and the early days of his 50-year career.
An emotionally charged, intimate and uplifting full-circle journey, the film follows the charismatic top-selling solo artist of all time, while he prepares for his final concert in North America at Dodger Stadium.
Elton takes viewers back in time as he recounts the extraordinary highs and heartbreaking lows of his early years and how he overcame adversity, abuse and addiction to become the icon he is today.
Directed by award-winning director and producer R.J. Cutler, the film also features a new original song from the star who started to play the piano at the early age of four.
Before launching on Disney+, on December 13, “Elton John: Never Too Late,” will debut with a limited theatrical run on November 15 in the U.S. and U.K.
